What Petrava is

Petrava is an information and coordination service for international pet travel. We help pet owners understand the requirements for taking dogs and cats across borders, and we coordinate with veterinarians, airlines, and government authorities on our customers' behalf.

What Petrava is not

Petrava is not a veterinary practice. We do not diagnose, treat, or vaccinate animals. We do not issue or endorse health certificates. We are not a legal advisor and we are not a government body.

Accuracy of information

Pet travel rules change frequently. The information we provide is based on publicly available sources at the time we last updated our records. We make no warranty that any specific requirement, fee, or timeline shown on this site is current or complete on the day you travel.
  • Your veterinarian (for medical procedures and certificates)
  • The official animal-import authority of your destination country
  • Your chosen airline (for cabin/hold policies and booking windows)

Limitation of liability

Within the limits of Belgian consumer law, Petrava is not liable for travel delays, denied boarding, customs holds, or additional costs that arise because rules changed between the date we published guidance and the date you travelled. Our liability for service performance is limited to the price you paid for the specific service in question.
